Gut Healing Morning Smoothie Bowl

Nothing brightens up the morning more than a brightly colored, beautifully garnished smoothie bowl! It is quick, easy, delicious, and makes eating veggies first thing in the morning totally palatable. I often switch my ingredients up, but this is one of my go to's (recipe below video):


-1 cup lightly steamed then frozen cauliflower florets

-1/2 frozen banana

-1 scoop vegan vanilla protein powder

-1 scoop collagen peptides*

-1 cup almond milk or water

- 1/2 cup frozen blueberry/kale mix

-1 tbsp chia seeds

-squeeze of half a lemon (not shown in the video)

Blend and garnish with sliced fruit, seeds, granola, dried fruits, and/or coconut flakes.

*For those following my gut health protocol, make sure you include the collagen peptides! They contain large amounts of the amino acids glycine, glutamine and proline which support the healing and repair of the lining of the intestinal tract.
